Who We Are
Great Opportunity For Adventure & Tours
Join us on an incredible trip across Canada with Canadian Connect Tours, brought to you by NPA CANADA. We're more than a tourism company; we're your ticket to Canada's stunning nature and lively cities. With NPA CANADA's support, we promise to show you the best of Canada, from its beautiful landscapes to its rich culture and history. Our tours are exceptional because we offer a unique opportunity for visitors, especially those from the US, to explore the journey of enslaved individuals who traveled here seeking freedom.
In 2023, we're focusing on something extraordinary: a tour centered around the Underground Railroad starting in Buxton, Ontario. We've teamed up with The World Conference of Mayors and the Historic Black Towns and Settlements Alliance, Inc. to share these places' essential stories and history. NPA CANADA is committed to sharing all parts of Canada's history, including the powerful stories of the Underground Railroad and the African Canadian communities that have helped shape Canada. Our tours are designed to be eye-opening and meaningful, connecting you to the heart of Canada's history and its vibrant future. Explore with us and see Canada in a whole new light.

Success Rate
During the Underground Railroad, which peaked between 1830 and 1865, it is estimated that between 30,000 and 40,000 freedom seekers entered Canada to escape slavery in the United States. However, due to the secretive nature of the Underground Railroad, the exact number is complex and difficult to determine.
